There's a Fair in Chiptonshire (but you can't stay)

about

As I tread the bitty road
Down through Segfault Pass
My eyes spot the fair twirl
Of the dress of a lass

She says "come along good sir
Down to Chiptonshire
There's a fair where you can drink
And dance 'round the fire"

Sure enough I did follow
If just to see her
Skip bare feet across
The bubbling streams of media

As the town came into sight
So'd the pipes and drums
Clapping, dancing all around
But soon I was glum

"'Tis not my home this fair town"
Said I to the girl
"And though you dance like a sprite
The sun on your curls
Is as soothing as the night
And your smile as perls
Shines through my shell in delight

I must go
I must be on my way
There's a fair in Chiptonshire
But I can't stay."
